My Point Of Mammal Captivity
Why do you think keeping mammals in captivity is such a big issue?Im going to give you my point of view. I think animals should not be kept in captivity and im going to give you three reasons why they shouldn't. My first reason is that the people who try to capture the animals do not use safe methods, for example the nets that use to capure them kill other fishes that get caught in the momment they are trying to catch the mammals. Also when they capture the mammals they usally dont survive once they are captured. Second the holding tanks they put them in are nothing compared to the ocean, the tanks are way to shallow for the animals. The animals can't be free and eat when ever they want. Finally the poeple that take them from their natural hapitat are taking them away from their social bonding with their family and cause them to attack the trainer, also the fact that the animals dont have the liberty to eat when ever they want. These are my three reasons why i think that poeplr should not keep them in captivity. You wouldn't like it if someone kept you in captivity.

CELIA CRUZ
For Dia de Los Muertos I’m honoring Celia Cruz. She was born on October 21, 1925 in Havana, Cuba. Cruz grew up in Santo Suarez. Cruz was studying to become a teacher in Havana until she won a talent show on the radio, that’s when she started to pursue her singing career. In 1962, Cruz married a trumpet player named Pedro Knight who became her manager later in her career. Cruz is the second child of fourteen. Catalina Alfonso was her mother who took care of the family and Simon Cruz was her father and he worked in the railroads as a stoker. Her family didn’t want Celia to become a singer, but that’s not what Cruz wanted. She wanted to pursue being a salsa singer. Celia Cruz was the most popular salsa singer ever born. People called her “The Queen of Salsa”. Celia Cruz died on July 16, 2003; she did not recover from a brain tumor surgery and later passed away from cerebral cancer.
I am honoring Celia Cruz because I think she made a difference in the world with her music. She changed the way salsa is listen to. She pursued her dream until the end and I admire that stuck to and loved what she did. I would tell my daughter about this strong Cuban woman and the wonderful music she made. I think she was very important to many people she will always be remembered as The “Queen of Salsa”.

- The promise Thomas Jefferson made was not kept because throughout history the government has take the land of Native Americans.
- The Cherokees had to adapt to the formal government. The government made them become Christians, give their language up, also sent their children to boarding schools.
- The Indian tribes loss more than ninety million acres of land. The government thought the Indians should have their own piece of land and farm like all the other whites.
- Captain Jack requested to stay on the land but the government denied Captain jack fought the government but was later hung.
- The Supremacy Clause guaranteed the Indian tribes their land, but Andrew Jackson wanted the land and also resources on the land.
- If i was handling land problems with the Indians I would try to communicate and come to a agreement to stay on the land. Keep piece with the Indians.

- " Your failures teach you, not define you" "You fail to succeed," This phrase caught my attention it made me think to myself, it made me realize that failures do teach you because after all the troubles I've gone through I'm still getting my education so there is no excuse to not go to school.
- Destiny, is some thing to which a person or thing is destined, want to control. Future, existing or occurring at a later time. Challenge, to make on present a challenge, to take a legal exception.
- Obama has inspired me to give every thing the best I can give and to give to our country.
- To me it means that no matter what you do in life, it does not mean that you have to do it you make your own choices you choose what path you want to take even if its good or bad, in my life this means that i don't have to be a doctor i can be a EMT ( emergency medical technician)
- Mr.Obama my contribution in life is going to be a EMT (emergency medical technician) One day I was leaving from school and this paralized man was driving to work and lost control of the car and almost hit me thank god my daughter was not with me. He went through a parking lot fence,as i got up to see the car the man inside was having a siezer. I went under the fence pulled the man out the car and called for help.

Obama’s educational plan
In Obama’s State of the Union adress, he mentions that the U.S has the highest dropout rates, one half of high school students dropout. He stated that three fourth of jobs require a college education and less than one-half of americans have a college education. Our president has already made accomplishments in the United States. He has prevented teachers from getting laid off from their jobs. I think this is one of the best decisions he has made for our country. I believe without knowledge you won’t succeed with the goals you might make in your life. But without our teachers there is no knowledge. College is also being made affordable by giving tax credit. One of Obama’s goals for our future is to start a program so that high school graduates can volunteer in their community for a year and get a free college education. I’m hoping this goal passes by the time I graduate from high school because that pushes me even more to get a college education. This will prevent millions of students from going into debt before they finish college. This plan will also help me move forward for my family. Another goal that Obama has is to expand charter schools. I agree on expanding charter schools. It will find those teachers who don’t really care about an education. What teachers don’t realize is that we are the future. All americans should go back and get one year of a college education. That way even though you think your to old to get some education thats not true any thing is possible. It's a good thing to get education so it can refresh your memory. It will also help you help your kids.
