The Myth of Creation

  • After Ages of time, somthing enthused in the egg, burst it's shell, and rised to the surface. It was the supreme god, Tangaroa. Tangaroa was frightened to find himself alone. He took the remains of his shell and created the world out of it. He created the secondary gods, men and women.

  • In the time people were created, the Polynesians said, that gods have lived in Pulotu or Hawaiki, mysterious islands in the west. Sometimes they went to live in the sky or under the island. some hawaiians believed the homes of some of the gods and godesses was the volcano called Kirauea.

Vote yes on prop 8

Prop 8 it based on marriage that should ONLY be between a man and a woman

I agree on prop 8 because I believe that this world is made for man and woman. I think that gay people are going to kill our poulation. Men can't make babies on their own they need a woman to make a child. Women can't make a child without a man either. To me it just doesn't seem right god created us this way and that's the way it should stay. I can uderstand that a person can fall in love with their opposite sex. This some how happens normal. I dont think this is right its not the right path to walk on. (So vote Yes on prop 8)

Aero Space Museum

Thank you Dawn for inviting us to the San Diego Aero Space Museum.
  • I learned three things in the museum.
  • First, i learned about the Apollo#9 Command Module. It was manufactured in North America Rockwell Corporation Space Division, Downey,CA. It was launched 3 March,1969, 11:00:00am est.launched by Colonel James A.McDivitt, Colonel David R.Scott, Russell Schweiekart.
  • Second, was the Boeing 737 Faselage, built in 1968 and flown on 7 May,1968. It was owned by many airlines, untill it was taken over by the US Air, it was dismantled in 1999. More 737s have been sold than any other commercial air craft.
  • finally, was The Korean War, it began with North Korean invasion of the south on 25 june,1950, ended with signing of armistice on 27 july,1953. The US alone suffered 59,000 killed. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE.

Life in Ancient Egypt/Sickness and Health

  • Babies and small children in ancient Egypt had a very high death rate.Infants died from stomach infection, dysentery which was a very seriuos disease.

  • The illnesses were blamed on evil spirits. They would say a spell and prepare a potion that was made from poisonous herbs honey, and garlic.

  • Mothers would try to protect their children by doing a written spell and tying it around the neck.

  • Egytian doctors were able to mend broken bones with splints and heal bad cuts with bandages and poultices.Poor children would not be able to afford a doctor so they relied on magic and protection of gods.

  • There are 26 royal mummies in Egyptian Museum at Cairo.Pharaoh Ramsesis a royal family. They lived pass 55 but mostly all of them died between the ages of 20,40, and 50 years of age because they were kept from danger and kept healthy.
